
The Las Vegas Open YoYo Championship presented by Scales is a fun event with a unique format to be held in conjunction with SkillCon, an international skill toy convention.
This year’s Las Vegas Open will be held at the Container Park, located in Las Vegas right near the official Skillcon hotel, The Plaza. Container Park is an open-air shopping center filled with boutique retail shops, unique restaurants, and live entertainment for the whole family – located in the heart of Las Vegas. the official hotel, The Plaza, features all of the latest casino games, along with award-winning entertainment and a variety of dining options.
The main event will be held on November 16th, 2019.

This year's Las Vegas YoYo Open is in a new format and presented by scales collective. Scales set out at the beginning of 2015 to form a yoyo team that was unlike the rest, not bound by yoyos and promotions, but by competing together and pushing each person to their limits. The main focus being if one of us wins that each and every one of us made it possible for this to happen.

His signature yoyo, the Dark Magic, is one of the best-selling YoYoJam models ever created, and his instructional videos have taught millions of people how to yoyo, making him the most successful and effective yoyo demonstrator in history.

Steve is a National YoYo Master, co-founder of the Triple Crown of YoYo, Las Vegas Open, and YoYoNews.com, Marketing Manager for CLYW, and the inventor of counterweight yoyo play, better known as freehand or 5A. He is a winner of the Duncan Family Award for Industry Excellence and the Trick Innovator of the Year Award, and is arguably one of the most influential trick creators in this history of yoyo play.

Jason Garfield / SkillCon Organizer
Jason Garfield has been producing events since 2004, across the country and one in the U.K. Jason learned to juggle at age 11 in 1986 and quickly established himself as one of the greatest jugglers and performers of his time. Jason formed the World Juggling Federation in 2003, and 10 years later founded SkillCon, hosting 20 unique skill events. The Las Vegas Open will return to SkillCon in 2015.
